The book employs a duo type system to navigate historical linguistic gaps: the rigid, black Spectral (the Voice of Law) contrasts with the vibrant, red-orange Syne (the Voice of the Indigenous People). By integrating tribal "X" marks, the design turns legal marginalia into a visual landscape of resistance; this link to physical territory is reinforced by the work’s landscape format. The Single-Page Coptic Stitching creates metaphorical "knots," representing the capacity of law to either bind or unravel, while mirroring the author’s vision of history as a series of interconnected threads.
